I found a very inspiring blog the other day called Practicing Simplicity. Not too long ago she posted a list of random thoughts; I read it, loved it and got inspired. I like the idea of taking a moment and just be in the now, so I thought I'd share my observation of life, today, too,

MAKING plans for the near future.
COOKING nothing – I’m not even going to pretend. Left overs for the win.
DRINKING lots of tea and water!
READING The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte
WANTING a last minute flight to Barcelona.
LOOKING at forgotten photographs found in an envelope.
PLAYING Juan Luis Guerra, all day long.
WASTING my time longing for out-of-the-country adventures.
SEWING  nothing – I don't even own a needle.
WISHING for Maryland Chocolate Chip Cookies
ENJOYING exploring new paths & roads
WAITING for someone to bring me cookies.
LIKING having the windows open and curtains blowing.
WONDERING if maybe I belong in another part of the world

LOVING my new bohemian votives
HOPING that drawing will find it's way back into my life
MARVELLING at how things tend to just work out, even when there seems to be no hope.
NEEDING to regularly remind myself of the quote “Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.” - Lao Tzu
SMELLING the rain
WEARING high waist black jeans and a t-shirt
FOLLOWING my gut and recognizing my priorities
KNOWING that it will all work out.
THINKING about having a fika
BOOKMARKING wise words on Pinterest.
OPENING a box full of unread magazines that I need to figure out what to do with
GIGGLING at my baby husky's shenanigans.
FEELING ready for change.
